It is popular for its large, abundant and brightly colored buds. With a flowering period from July to October, Sunshine Chrysanthemums are highly recommended for rockeries, gardens or balconies.

How to plant seeds?
1.Sowing
It's best to plant gazania seeds at home in mid-February or March - so you can see the first buds in June.
It is recommended to plant gazania seeds using a standard soil mix, pot them (with drainage holes) and water them generously before planting. In this condition, the seeds are also placed in pots to a depth of no more than 2 cm.

2.Planting place
After planting, cover the container with film or glass and place it in a well-lit and warm place. - The ideal option is a warm balcony on the south side of the house.
Before the first gazania buds appear, air out the container several times, water regularly and remove condensation that accumulates on the film or glass.

3.Transplant
After about 1-1.5 weeks, transplant. A sign that sprouts need to be transplanted into individual pots is the appearance of 3 mature, elongated leaves. At the same time, remove the lid from the container.
To speed up the growth of seedlings, they should also be placed in a well-lit area without drafts. If cloudy weather is observed during this period, it will be useful to organize additional lighting in the form of plant lights.

4.Watering
Not only does gazania have excellent drought tolerance, it can also tolerate prolonged periods of high temperatures. So just make sure the soil doesn't dry out completely, which usually means watering no more than three times a month.

5.Prune
Prune every spring (usually in early March) to maintain the number of buds and reduce the number of side green buds. As a rule, all gazania buds need to be pruned - with the help of sterilized scissors, cut the buds to a height of 5 cm above the ground.
