Wisteria: A deciduous vine of the Fabaceae, Wisteria genus. Stem right-handed, branches thicker; odd-pinnate compound leaves; raceme. Flowers are planted with axillary buds or terminal buds on short branches for one year. Corolla purple, fragrant; pods oblanceolate. The flowering period is mid-April to early May, and the fruiting period is May-August.
